Meet the Artist
Daniel’s career in art started at a young age drawing airplanes. He took many art classes as a child. He continued to paint while in the Army. After leaving the Army he attended Eastern Washington State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. After receiving his degree he was involved with Galleries in Seattle, Washington. He then had a business in Ocean Shores, WA. After several years he closed his business and moved to Tacoma, WA, where he worked until retiring in 2004. He spent several years in Montana and moved to Sun City in 2012. He joined both Sun City art clubs and enjoys playing with his art and helping other members improve their skills.
We celebrated our name change from Lakeview Art Club to “Artists By The Lake” at our June 2016 meeting. The food was delicious. We then enjoyed creating and exchanging “Artist Trading Cards.”
