Artists by the Lake
Come have a great time with us! The Lakeview Art Club (aka Artists by the Lake) invites you to stop by our studio to view the artwork on display, visit with the artists at work and purchase paintings at low gallery rates. All interested artists are invited to come & join us.

|Special Events:||Throughout the year special “Play Days” are hosted by outside Artists or club members sharing/teaching their area of expertise. Watch for notices in the local paper or Lakeview Art Club Studio.|
|Meeting Times:||Membership meetings are the first Tuesday of each month, October through May, at noon. Meetings are held in the Lakeview Social Hall on the second level. We start our meetings with a potluck/social gathering, (guests are invited to eat lunch for $4 each) followed by a short business meeting, ending with a professional demonstration or other related activity. Annual club membership fees are $10.|
|Classes:||Art classes are available for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. Professional artists provide leadership in the classes and hands-on experience in a variety of mediums, i.e. acrylic, oil, pencil, watercolor, pen & ink, etc. Classes usually run 4-6 weeks; cost per class is $10 per class session, payable at the beginning of each month. This may vary depending on the teacher and subject.

Calling All Sun City Artists!
It’s time to gear-up and start creating those new works of art you’ve been thinking about all summer long.
The 42nd Annual Sun City Art show and sale will be held on February 20 and 21, 2016 at Bell Center. This is a great opportunity to show off your work!
This is a judged show sponsored by Artists by the Lake and Palo Verde Art Clubs and all RCSC Cardholders may submit entries.
You may enter three paintings in your choice of medium – oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, collage, pencil and ink on either paper or canvas. All entries must be original, two dimensional and completed in the last two years. All paintings must be framed and in ready to hang condition with a 2-inch slack in the hanging wire.
Entry fee is $5 for each piece collected at the time of registration which will be on Thursday, February 18 from 3:00 to 5:00pm.
